Mukwonago is a village in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The population was 7,355 at the 2010 census. The village is located mostly within the Town of Mukwonago in Waukesha County, with a small portion extending into the Town of East Troy in Walworth County. Of its population, 7,254 were in Waukesha County, and 101 were in Walworth County.
Demographics
Of the 2,923 households 35.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 54.9% were married couples living together, 8.6% had a female householder with no husband present, 5.1% had a male householder with no wife present, and 31.5% were non-families. 26.6% of households were one person and 10.7% were one person aged 65 or older.
